Linda Robson kicks off Christmas at the Belfry!
Monday 30 November 2009Christmas at the Belfry was launched in style when Linda Robson, star of Birds of a Feather, paid a special visit to the Centre to open the spectacular giant Snowglobe on Sunday 29th November!
After a crowd countdown Linda unveiled the Snowglobe to reveal Frosty the Snowman having some fun in the snow inside the globe! Linda and Belfry Centre Manager, Richard Cowlard, then got in the Snowglobe to have a go themselves! The Snowglobe will now be open every day until Christmas Eve during normal Centre opening hours.
As well as the giant Snowglobe there were also plenty of other things to see and do on the day, including some very special appearances from Bjorn the Polar Bear, free Husky sled rides, free facepainting and free children's craft workshops.
If you missed the grand launch of the giant Snowglobe, make sure you come along to the Belfry Shopping Centre before Christmas Eve to step inside the fun and have a go yourself!
