Step inside a real snowglobe this Christmas!
Thursday 29 October 2009Everyone loves the traditional snowglobe – the fun of the crisp white snow and the joyous Christmas scene. Now you will actually be able to experience what it’s like to be inside an amazing giant Snowglobe at the Belfry Shopping Centre, Redhill this Christmas!
This unique attraction is the only one of its kind in Surrey. The larger than life Snowglobe allows up to six people of any age to step inside for some snowy winter fun. You will be able to create your own Christmas scene in this magical winter wonderland and also have your photo taken to keep as a treasured memory or to send as a very special Christmas card to family and friends.
The giant Snowglobe will be open every day from 29th November until 24th December at the Belfry Shopping Centre, Redhill, during normal Centre opening hours, with free car parking every Sunday!
Celebrity launch
The spectacular launch of the giant Snowglobe at the Belfry Shopping Centre is on Sunday 29th of November at 11 am, by TV’s Linda Robson, who will be starring as Witch Hazel in Beauty and the Beast at The Harlequin Theatre this Christmas.
FREE entertainment
Sunday November 29th will also be a fantastic day of FREE entertainment from 11 am to 4 pm at the Belfry! Get your Christmas off to a flying start with free husky sled rides! You can even stroke the dogs and pose for a photograph to capture the moment for ever! Then meet gentle giant, Bjorn, the polar bear, who will be at the Centre with his expert herder, Ursula. And there are also some exciting Christmas craft workshops and free facepainting for the children.
Make sure you come to the Belfry on Sunday 29th of November for a magical Christmas the whole family will remember.

Got a favourite Santa outfit? Does your child look adorable as a Christmas elf? Go along to the Snowglobe in fancy dress and every week one lucky winner will be chosen to receive a FREE return visit to the Snowglobe for up to six people AND one extra FREE photo for each group member!
Late night shopping
For great gifts and seasonal goodies, enjoy late night Christmas shopping at the Belfry. Stores will stay open until 6.30 pm on Thursday 3rd and Thursday 10th December, then each day from Thursday 17th to Saturday 19th December.
Stores will stay open until 7 pm From Monday 21st to Wednesday 23rd December and are open all day on Christmas Eve until 5 pm.
As well as this, we are also delighted to welcome Father Christmas to the Belfry Shopping Centre this year. Our free grotto will be at the Centre on the Upper Mall outside Topshop all throughout the Christmas season – see our website at www.redhillbelfry.co.uk for more information on opening hours. The grotto is brought to you by the Rotary Club of Redhill and Merstham and Hawkins Bazaar in the Belfry who will be providing Santa with his gifts. Entrance is by donation with all monies raised going to local charities.
